The law regarding the use of Emoji
Similar to fonts, emojis are copyrighted! Licences have to be bought if directly selling the emoji image. If say, on a T shirt or any printed media or digital image.
However, if using the emojis as a way of imparting information as a pictorial method of replacing text to hint at emotions or enhance the reading experience usage appears to be unlimited.
